About Elizabeth & James

With over 30 years of combined culinary expertise, Oceanside Chefs was founded by Elizabeth and James, two chefs united by their passion for creating extraordinary dining experiences.

Elizabeth’s culinary journey has been shaped by her extensive experience in charcuterie, award-winning restaurants, and artisan butcher shops. Her expertise in charcuterie is central to her approach, where she embraces nose-to-tail cooking and a low-waste philosophy. Elizabeth is deeply committed to sustainability, thoughtfully using every part of an ingredient to craft innovative dishes that honor both the product and the environment. Her dedication to fresh, locally sourced ingredients is paired with a passion for perfecting her baking and sourdough skills, making her culinary style a harmonious blend of artistry, technique, and respect for food’s natural integrity.

James, on the other hand, has spent years perfecting his skills in some of the finest kitchens across Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. His international experience has given him a global perspective on flavors and techniques, blending modern culinary trends with timeless classics. Known for his precision and artistry, James excels in transforming simple ingredients into sophisticated, memorable dining experiences that leave a lasting impression.
